Guitar Tower

The project originated in Tou Scene at the 10 years celebration of the house, June 22, 2010. 2000 persons attended.

48 electric guitar players stood in a 6-floor scaffolding, anchored to a tower that was due to be demolished soon after.

The project has been repeated in smaller scale (30+ players), standing on platforms instead of scaffolding. The score material is simple and intutitive to understand. The piece is conducted by Alf Terje Hana and Nils Henrik, leading each their half of the group by showing posters with cue letters. The players have individual amplifiers - no PA system.
