24 years after its conception, Nils Henrik Asheim's "Salmenes Bok - The Book of Psalms" is available as a recorded album. This work, commissioned for the inauguration of Oslo Cathedral's organ in 1998, is scored for choir and two organs and creates a narrative rich on emotional contrasts, through 21 settings of the Biblical Psalms.

This project belongs to organ player Daniel Buner Formo and is one of three CD's in the series "Hammond Dialogues". He writes:
"After having played the Hammond B3 organ for a good while, I wanted to explore a much broader approach to this fine instrument.
Arctic Brass plays "Burning Ice" for brass quintet and percussion (Euridice Turn Left, 2001).
Ensemble music for 5 is one of NHA's very earliest works (1977). It was awarded the Unesco ROSTRUM 2.prize in 1978. On this album it is presented along with music of Bjørn Kruse, Olav Berg, Kjell Samkopf, Bjørn Korsan Hoemsnes and Ivar Lunde.
Barratt-Dues Juniororkester plays the 7-movement piece "Etyder over tiden" (Etudes on Time). Music that is well suited to young orchestras. Hemera HCD 2915
Frantisek Veselka and Milena Dratvova are two Czech musicians that influenced the music scene of Stavanger significantly during the 70-80-90's. "Summer's Play" is dedicated to them. ACD 4972 is volume III of the cycle "New Norwegian Violin Music". Available only as download.
GENESIS for string quartet (1982) is one of NHA's early pieces. On this CD "1-2-3- happy happy happy", Stavanger Samtidsensemble are presenting the piece along with music of Jon Øivind Ness, Asbjørn Schaathun, Ketil Hvoslef and Alfred Janson.
