Once again, our residing organist Nils Henrik Asheim has teamed up with the Valen Vocal Ensemble for the organ's Christmas concert. In a short time, the ensemble has established itself as the new elite group of singers in Rogaland. Together, they take you on an atmospheric journey through beautiful Christmas folk songs from various countries to sacred compositions, including works by Fartein Valen himself – and along the way, soundscapes are evoked that only the magical transition between the human voice and the organ can create.
