Organist of Stavanger Concert Hall
I have the enormous honour to be appointed as the organist of Stavanger Concert Hall. The new Stavanger Konserthus will open mid-September, after which the organ needs to go through a period of intonation, tuning and adjustments before its inauguration - probably early 2013. My job starts September 1st and includes taking care of the instrument, playing it, and curating the programme.

Twice, artists from Tokyo have visited Stavanger / Tou Scene and performed with Kitchen musicians (2008 and 2011). In 2011 the composition Pulse by Dag Egil Njaa and John Lilja featured Hiraku Suzuki and Tetsuya Nagato on live visuals.

"Skremmende aktuell", Bergens Tidende comments before the premiere of Venezia which is a piece about a city over and under water. FMKV wind orchestra is playing under Peter Szilvay. In the stage setup the orchestra is divided in two facing halves, which should create a monumental stereo effect in the medieval Håkonshallen.
